Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007, a unified communications concept, helping people to be more productive. It enables its users to communicate easily with others using a range of communication options, including instant messaging (IM), voice, and video.

OCS 2007 introduces a wide range of new features, most notably enhanced presence and enterprise voice capabilities. This allows users to place computer-to-computer calls and computers-to-PSTN calls.

OCS 2007 also introduces robust call-forwarding features, support for USB audio devices, automatic setup of audio and video devices, and the ability to add Active Directory Domain Services distribution groups to your Communicator Contact List.

Highside Telecom together with its partners will not only deliver the Quintum equipment and technical support for OCS but also its VoIP off-net service. Microsoft and Highside Telecom thus agreed in May 2007.
